imitation is a form of flattery
We’ve all done it and when it’s done to you, take it as a form of flattery. CHOMP.
I designed this in 2006 and is still selling great on Drifting.com.

Puma designed this last week.

The Next Big Project..
After launching Nikesportswear.com this week, I’ll be putting some weekend attention to this little daily driver project which will most likely end up being more than a daily and also will be taking a little break from work to kick it with the family. This year has been mad hectic but has also been a journey I haven’t had in a long while. Talk soon.. and will see some of you’s in LA and NY.

Edit.. Moved the AME’s from the S14 onto the 13. Didn’t think the four 18×10 +25 FS01’s would fit but with maximum camber up front and a 5mm spacer from OneTonGarage, it fit. Looks HUGE, yes and definitely with these wheels, a body kit is necessary.

The AME’s got replaced with four 18×10.5 +22 ProDrive wheels from Japan courtesy of Henry from Mach3. Again had to put some 10mm spacers from OneTonGarage to clear the springs up front but worked out cause I, again, went full camber up front to flush out the front as well.

The Earth Moves When I Visit Your Town..
Honestly, I’ve been consistently feeling earthquakes when I land in peoples town. I was in a fairly big one in Japan, the latest one in China that rocked the country with a 7.9, and more recently my LA 5.3 experience at Target with Kenta.
Let me tell you, Target isn’t a place you want to be in an earthquake. Especially Target in Hollywood. Cruising down the lotion & mouthwash aisle, it hit and it SHOOK hard. Hard enough to shake off everything off the shelves shattering glass mouthwash bottles, ruining my vintage nike’s. What happened next was something out of this world…
So the earth stopped shaking and people started panicking. People running full blast out the door, carrying their kids, etc.. if they ran down my aisle, they would have eaten it HARD but lucky for them, they didnt. Kenta, returing some goods, experienced his first hard earthquake in LA. The roof fell in the front of target and the metal gates dropped hard onto some carts. WE both agreed that we probably should be getting out.
I’ll be in NY next week.. we’ll see what happens.
A little R&R
It’s been crazy at work lately. The official Nike Sportswear Party Kicks Off on 08.08.08. Got to mess with the cars for a few hours today. Very rare these days. We also had a great time at the HellaFlush meet we threw at GoKart Racer yesterday. Check out fotos from that event here.
The Drift Cars and the Ruckus.

Unofficial Father Daughter Day at MotoGP
For the last 10 years, I’ve been going to Laguna Seca for some kind of Superbike Race. This year there was no way we were going to miss MotoGP, the most exciting motorcycle racing series. Valentino Rossi (Yamaha), coming off some amazing wins and Casey Stoner (DUC) were the top favorites. Brooklyn, almost 3, woke up at 6am and was ready to head to the track.
Brooklyn checking out the track conditions. Figuring out where to goto.

Looks like she found what she was looking for. F1 Car!

Dam, look at that rear.

Random photos with Uncle Ron and Dad.

Very randomly we met up with uncle Toads who plays with a reggae band from Santa Cruz.

Track Crossing

And the kicks that got me through the day. The Air Max 90 Current. The blend between the AM90 and a Nike Free. Available at your finer Nike Retailers. The MOST comfortable shoe I’ve tried on this year.

Air Questo’s
Finished up a lil flyer for the release of the ?UESTLOVE’s AF1World Release. Shoe is HAWT.

Back to the grill again
It’s back to white again (2007 Porsche GT3 White) and I’m loving it. GARAGE INC in Burlingame is great.
More Fatlace 1YR Anniversary Stuff
So I designed some stuff for the 1 year anniversary. You’ve seen the Ruckus Shirt (part of the Fall Hobbiest Line) and the Track/Single Speed Bike that I along with Brad from NP came up with. I really think that was something to hold on to for this 1 year even tho we sat on the samples for about 6 months.
Another piece for the 1YR that we keep close to us is the skateboard. NO we’re not turning into a skateboard company nor are we going to have a skate team. We’re HOBBIEST at heart. I had my first deck at the age of 11 and I’m 35 now. I remember seeing a half pipe in my backyard on Eastmoor in Daly City in the 80’s and it was the son of the guy who was renting it and really dont have to say anymore than that. I got hooked. Always wanted to have a skateboard so every year, we’ll make one on our anniversary. You can ride it or put it on your wall. 24 of each color made. Available Mid August.

and tees that go along with those.

6oh-dayam, they’re back!
Last week on campus was one of those weeks where you weren’t sure where you wanted to be cause it was BLAZING. 90 Degrees in Toronto on Monday, 95 Degrees in San Francisco on Tuesday, and 94 Degrees in Oregon on Wednesday. There was no escape from the heat and I don’t think we’re all on the same plain so something definitely is happening globally.
However, there was something to look forward to when I did get back to work and that was the 6.0 event on Thursday. The went all out this year. Setting up ramps, a snowboard rail park, and even wakeskated in the Nike Lake.

Boarding and E rocking his vintage Mongoose.
