last oct 07 was the last time i rode my ruckus. i had it sitting for awhile since i got bored of it. around may 08 (remember?), mark hit me up that he’ll be putting a hella flush event end of july. that was my whole reason to take the bike out again and do something different.

before i did anything else to the bike.

[06.30.08] i went to hit up the homies at BOWLSLA for goodies. when i got there, they had it all ready for me.

i did this project at BLACKTRAX which was very helpful when i needed anything it was there.

[07.01.08] motor is out and it was time to start the project. i hated the look of the skinny tires for motorcycle so i had steve dunn from team d:mon a ziptied member somewhere in europe to buy and express the tires for me.

[07.15.08] $300 later the tires came in. ADVAN A048. wasn’t happy how the rims&tires wasn’t centered. if it doesn’t fit, make it fit. i had to shave a few things on the motor in order to fit the tire.

[07.22.08] i had to machine some parts in order to make things fit. thanks for the help of Aki (BLACKTRAX) dude knows to make shit.

this is how the shock supposed to sit but i wasn’t happy of how retarded it looks. if it ain’t rubbing, it ain’t low enough.

i had aki weld the shock mount super low.

welding. cutting. grinding.

i knew i was running out of time, i was trying to make this modification to my ruckus but i had the wrong metal and it was cutting it close. andy (GARAGE INC USA) needed the frame to paint it or else i wont make it to the event. i abandon this modification that i really wanted for the ruckus. next time.

[07.25.08] i got the all the parts back from garage inc, painted. it wasn’t the color that i wanted but it came out ok. it was time to install everything.

tire is centered.

as always you run into problems, i had to make some more shit in order for the front wheel to fit. once again, akira came through!

i got a homie to help wrench but it was time to take the bike home.

i finally got done around 3am installing everything. went to get gas and test the ruckus, i forgot i was much lowered than before. going up the sidewalk was a bad idea. i broke the fucking exhaust.

i made it to the meet and the final product.

when i came back home monday, i parted out the bike. it was fun.

When I was on a crunch on getting my Ruckus done for the Hella Flush Meet, Andy (GarageInc) came through on the last minute paint.

I actually went to his shop last minute thinking he was waiting for me to pick up my shit but they were actually working on his Honda.

They were also prepping Arcenal’s car for the meet.

My Ruckus came out dope but it isn’t what I wanted but I was happy with the outcome. More of the build up later and the ride.

I asked Andy (Garage Inc) to get some different gold for my kicks. He came up with this and name it Lagura Gold.

This fine young man was arrested for having some crack on him. He got arrested and was sitting inside the cop car for over an hour. Then I hear a shatter, back of the cop window was gone, i guess he was hot back there. Swearing and telling the officer to fuck off is not such a good idea. They took him out, strap him, left him on the floor for an hour. Note it was a good 90+ that day.

I doubt I’ll get the bike done for this weekend. But my faith is with Andy (Garage Inc).
