DIY: iPhone Stand

Inspired by a post from Jeff Staple, I wanted to design a version using a minimal footprint and contact points. The concept uses a lot of the curves already built into the paper clip. This is what I came up with. All you need is a paper clip… easy as 1,2,3. No tools or precise specs required. Only challenge is getting the angles perfect. Once the angles are balanced, the iPhone sits pretty solid.

Shopping Carts

The locking wheels are a cool idea to prevent cart theft. Every day I see overloaded shopping carts being used for urban mobile storage. I’m not sure how much it costs grocery stores to replace these carts, but I’m sure it doesn’t help keep prices down.

I wonder why some people are too lazy to return carts? It’s not that much work. Sucks when you find a cart using your car as a stopper.

Two Mile Walk through SF

A few weeks ago, one of my windows got busted by a crack head. Nothing was stolen, still a pain though. One morning I went to get my window replaced. It was walking distance to my work, and ended up being about two miles. Not a bad walk. Each person sees the world in a different way, here are a few shots of the things that I notice.

The first throw up has a cool flow. That orange wall is dope, too bad some toys had to go over the piece at the bottom. It might have been King’s piece since he tagged over them. King 157 has mad skills! Look him up. Then there are random tags and signs. I took a shot of the Jaut tag because it’s in perfect view from the police station, that’s risk factor! Check out the beer, it’s supposed to be halla good, haha.
